Applied Value Group acquires US solar-storage company ES Solar

Investment and management consulting firm Applied Value Group has acquired ES Solar, Utah's largest residential and commercial solar and battery storage installer.

Around 90 per cent of installations carried out by ES Solar - which has operations in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming - feature battery storage.

Through this partnership, ES Solar aims to “expand into new markets, launch new products, and strengthen its leading position in its existing locations”, a statement said.

Bruce Grant, executive chairman of Applied Value Group, said: "ES Solar has demonstrated tremendous growth, and we can't wait to help further accelerate their journey." 

Chris Loock, CEO of ES Solar, commented: "This strategic partnership not only strengthens our position in our core markets but also enables our ability to rapidly expand into other geographies.”
