Brostøm to leave Shell after renewable strategy shift

Thomas Brostøm is leaving his position as head of renewable generation at oil giant Shell as the company scales back its energy transition plans.

Brostrom joined Shell from Ørsted in August 2021 to head its offshore wind strategy, but is now leaving as Shell focuses more on oil and gas production under new chief executive Wael Sawan.
