Chemicals giant BASF develops Chinese project

Chemicals giant BASF has formed a joint venture with Chinese turbine maker Mingyang to develop a 500MW offshore wind farm in Chinese waters.

Mingyang owns 90% of the joint venture and BASF owns the remaining 10%. The project is due to be commissioned in 2025.
