CIP plans 500MW Bangladesh offshore project

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Copenhagen Offshore Partners are planning a $1.3bn 500MW offshore wind farm in Bangladesh.

The project in the Bay of Bengal would be Bangladesh's first offshore wind farm. Last month, Denmark and Bangladesh approved a joint plan to develop renewable energy projects.
