DAI Infrastructure signs huge ammonia deal
German firm DAI Infrastructure has signed a 10-year deal to supply Freepan Holdings with 800,000 tonnes of green ammonia each year from 2028.
DAI said it would produce the green ammonia at Egypt's East Port Said, and that the deal represented 40% of the 2,000,000 tonnes of green ammonia it is planning to produce annually at the facility. Freepan is expected to trade the ammonia in Europe and use it as a fuel for vessels using the Suez Canal.
