Enel agrees €400m sale of Australian arm stake

Italian utility Enel has agreed to sell a 50% stake in its Australian operations to Japanese conglomerate INPEX Corporation for €400m.

Enel announced today that it planned to Australian operations in a 50:50 joint venture with INPEX. Enel Green Power Australia currently operates 310MW of solar capacity and is building a 76MW wind farm.
