European pair unveil 500MW H2 plant

Dutch developer Power2X and Spanish developer Soto Solar have teamed up to deliver a 500MW green hydrogen production facility in Spain.

The companies have outlined plans for the ErasmoPower2X project in Spain's Castilla La Mancha, which is set to be paired with a 1.2GW solar plant. They are planning to take a final investment decision on the scheme by the end of 2025, with hydrogen production scheduled to begin in late 2027.
