Germany reveals 7GW offshore tender winners

Groups led by BP and Total Energies have won the rights to develop the four sites in the German government's 7GW offshore wind tender.

A BP-led consortium won the rights to develop the 2GW N-11.1 site at a bid value of €1.83m/MW (€3.12bn) and the 2GW N.12.2 site for €1.56m/MW (€3.66bn). Meanwhile, Total-led groups won the 2GW N-12.1 site in the North Sea and the 1GW O-2.2 site in the Baltic Sea for €1.875m/MW (€3.12bn) and €2.07m/MW (€2.07bn) respectively.
