Greece lays out 2.1GW offshore plan

Greece has picked five areas in its waters where it plans to award support for up to 2.1GW of offshore wind developments.

The Greek government has set aside one area off Alexandropouli for projects of up to 600MW; three areas in the central Aegean region with the potential for up to 300MW each; and an area near Crete with the potential for up to 600MW.
