Hy2gen commits to 200MW Mexican plant

Green hydrogen maker Hy2gen has committed to build a 200MW plant in Mexico to produce green ammonia for use in the European Union.

The company said it has signed a cooperation agreement with Mexican state Campeche for the Marengo plant, which is set to initially produce 180,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually. Hy2gen said production could start at the plant by the end of September 2028.
