Ignitis claims win in 700MW Lithuanian tender

Ignitis Renewables said its joint venture with Ocean Winds is set to be named the winner of Lithuania's inaugural 700MW offshore wind auction.

The utility announced today that it and Ocean Winds had bid €20m to develop the maritime area, which it said was the highest price in the auction. Lithuania's National Energy Regulatory Council is poised to confirm the winner of the auction this week.
