Innergex and MMBC secure 102MW PPA

Innergex and Mi'gmawei Mawiomi Business Corporation (MMBC) have agreed a power purchase agreement with Hydro-Québec at a 102MW project in Canada.

The pair have agreed a 30-year deal where Hydro-Québec will buy electricity produced by the 102MW Mesgi'g Ugju's'n 2 project in Québec, which is an extension of a 150MW project commissioned in 2016. Innergex is developing Mesgi'g Ugju's'n 2 with three Mi'gmaq communities, and the project is due to be commissioned in 2026.
