Lhyfe and Capital agree Iberian pact

Green hydrogen firm Lhyfe and Spanish utility Capital Energy have formed a joint venture to produce green hydrogen at offshore wind farms in Spain and Portugal.

Capital Energy has a 7.5GW pipeline of offshore wind projects off the Iberian peninsula; and, with Lhyfe, it is exploring the potential to use the electricity generated to produce hydrogen both offshore and onshore. The partners said the collaboration could extend to include other markets in future.
