Mainstream Renewable Power and Hexicon's joint venture, Freja Offshore, aims to develop the 2GW Cirrus offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea, with potential for 10TWh of annual electricity production.

Mainstream Renewable Power and Hexicon's joint venture Freja Offshore is seeking consent for the 2GW Cirrus offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea.

The partners said the project in Swedish waters could produce 10TWh of electricity annually. The project is set to mainly use fixed foundations, but floating turbines could be used in the deepest sections.
