Ocean Winds plans 4GW offshore trio in Australia

Offshore wind developer Ocean Winds is seeking consent in Australian state Victoria for three offshore wind projects totalling 4GW.

Ocean Winds, which is a joint venture between EDP Renewables and Engie, is bidding in a tender process in Victoria for the rights to conduct detailed feasibility studies for the projects. It is taking part in the tender through its bidding company High Sea Wind.
