Octopus Energy plans £15bn offshore wind drive

Octopus Energy plans to grow in offshore wind by investing £15bn in developments totalling 12GW in Europe by 2030.

The utility entered the onshore wind market in 2022 and now owns stakes in the 1.2GW Hornsea 1, 270MW Lincs and 19MW Borssele V projects. It also backs floating wind developer Simply Blue.
