Ørsted and ESB form Irish joint venture

Ørsted and Irish utility ESB have formed a 50:50 joint venture to develop 5GW of offshore wind projects in Irish waters.

The companies also said they would develop complementary green hydrogen projects; and planned to bid in the Republic of Ireland's next ORESS auction.
