Ørsted wins consent for 2.6GW Hornsea 4

Ørsted has won consent from the UK's Planning Inspectorate for its 2.6GW Hornsea 4 offshore wind project in the North Sea.

The decision was originally due to be announced in February 2023, but was delayed as the UK government carried out further investigations into the project's potential impacts on wildlife.‍
