Syntex to build 500MW plant in Arkansas

US hydrogen technology firm Syntex Industries has committed to build a 500MW hydrogen production facility in the city of Clarksville in US state Arkansas.

Syntex said the plant would use excess electricity from wind and solar farms to create hydrogen, which can then be converted back into electricity when needed. The company plans to start building the facility in late 2023.
