Total buys 50% stake in Rönesans Enerji

Total Energies is buying a 50% stake in Turkish utility Rönesans Enerji to develop renewable energy projects in Turkey.

Rönesans currently operates 166MW of hydro assets, and has a 700MW portfolio of development-stage wind, solar and battery storage assets. Rönesans is looking to expand its portfolio to 2GW headline capacity by 2028.
