Tower maker CS Wind buys Bladt Industries

Turbine tower maker CS Wind has agreed to buy Danish tower substructure firm Bladt Industries from Nordic Capital.

Michael Glavind, interim chief executive of Bladt Industries, said the deal followed Bladt's recent restructuring to focus on renewables: "Having an owner who already knows and understands the offshore wind market and the complexities of steel construction will benefit us - and therefore also our customers - tremendously."
