Vestas picks up 482MW orders in the US

The North American arm of turbine maker Vestas has concluded its second quarter with two orders totalling 482MW in the US.

Vestas picked up a 423MW order and a 20-year servicing contract for an undisclosed project in the US. It is set to begin supplying turbines in 2024 for the project, which is due to be commissioned in 2025.

The turbine maker has also secured a 59MW order from Greenbacker Capital Management for the Moscow wind project in Maine. Turbine delivery is due to start in the second quarter of 2024 with commissioning due in the third quarter of 2024.
