Zenith signs PPA at Northern Star gold mine

Australia's Zenith Energy has won a deal to power Northern Star's Jundee gold mining operations in Western Australia with renewable energy.

Jundee is set to be retrofitted with 24MW of wind, 16.4MW of solar and 12MW/13.4MWh of battery storage capacity, alongside its existing gas power station. The renewables will provide an estimated 56% of the mine's power needs.
