GCube Insurance, a renewable energy insurance specialist, wanted to enhance business relationships with key players in the sector via a global events programme.

As a specialist underwriter, GCube often works with its insured clients via the intermediary of an insurance broker. To address the potential disconnect this might cause, GCube began hosting a series of exclusive Advisory Council and Risk Seminar events to foster and maintain deeper relationships with the renewable energy asset owners that make up its client base.

Since the events programme began in 2012, Tamarindo’s role in stage-managing each Council session and Risk Seminar has increased considerably. Drawing on the wider offerings of Tamarindo Group, our Communication and Networks divisions now play an instrumental role in co-ordinating the events, from agenda development and speaker outreach to guest and venue liaison and a wide array of design services.

GCube’s latest Risk Seminar took place in Edinburgh, Scotland – retuning as an in-person event after an 18-month remote schedule. By building on the long-standing relationship with the client, Tamarindo was able to effectively organise the entire two-day event to include a range of informative content sessions and networking opportunities, coupled with local entertainment and the release of a new offshore wind claims report. This was GCube’s 12th Risk Seminar in Europe, adding to 18 successful Advisory Councils for GCube’s US team - with both set to remain a regular fixture in calendars for years to come.
