Floating Offshore Wind

Floating wind technology is now proven in Europe with over 150 MW operating across 4 small commercial projects in Scotland, Portugal, and Norway
Floating offshore wind is coming to the United States with the first auctions scheduled for December 2022 in California and the Biden Harris administration announced a goal of 15 GW operating by 2035.
This build out will require a tremendous mobilization of capital, meaning that bankability and insurability will be crucial success factors for deep water wind projects using floating technology
Principle Power will share its global experience designing and operating floating wind projects and will share lessons towards structuring bankable projects in the North American market.
