Sebastian Kurian is a Senior Counsel at Google supporting data center site selection, development, operations and infrastructure.
He has a particular focus on global energy infrastructure, supply transactions and policy matters, including maintaining Google's 100% renewable energy goal and pursuing its ambitious, new 24/7 carbon-free energy goal.
Prior to joining Google, Sebastian was the lead global utilities lawyer for Amazon Web Services.
He has closed nearly 4GW of renewable energy deals across 4 continents.
Sebastian received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, his JD from the University of Maryland, and completed Yale’s Financing and Deploying Clean Energy Certificate Program. He is a 2019 Minority Corporate Counsel Association Rising Star.
